Miami Beach Pride is an annual celebration which aims to bring members of the LGBTQ community together to experience their pride, embrace diversity, and honor how far LGBTQ rights have come since the Stonewall Uprising of 1969. In 2008, the former Miami Beach Mayor Matti Bower established Miami Gay Pride, with the very first event and parade transpiring the following year. Event decor will feature geometric shapes, strong colors, and rich textures, and include popular beach motifs such as beach balls, volleyballs, palm trees, and art-deco culture.
